Veil to Headpiece Attachment

Back to Custom Veils
With our standard assembly labor charge the attachment of the
veil to the headpiece is built in. The options talked about on
this page are not included in veil price and if chosen will be
added to cost. Please read this information carefully and determine
whether or not you will be needing them in your veil.
Detachable: First you must decide whether
or not you want your veil(s) detachable or not. Usually this is
used when a floor or longer length veil is chosen as a layer.
The long veil would be removed after the ceremony/pictures leaving
the shorter layer(s) for the reception. We do not use velcro which
is commonly used. We use button loops on the headpiece and small
covered buttons on the veil. This makes for a non-bulky and elegant
finished effect.

Pin Loops: Many brides choose to have
pin loops added to strategic areas of their headpiece. Pin loops
are closely spaced elastic loops which either hair pins or combs
can be inserted in to hold your headpiece and veil more securely
in place.
Comb or Barrette: Some brides choose
to not wear a headpiece at all. Just a simple to luxurious veil.
In this case you must decide which would work best in your hair.
This also may be determined by your hairstyle. A barrette may
work better on fine hair or straight style, where as a comb works
wonderfully in up-do's or full hair. We have two sizes of combs
and three barrettes shown here.
