 Dorothy Baltazor Walden passed away at home on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at age 92, after a long transition, due to heart failure. She was the daughter of Albert Gregory Baltazor and Elise Lowe Baltazor. Her parents, brothers, Wilmer J. and Albert A. Baltazor and her loving sister-in-law, Albert's wife Lucille (Cortez) and childhood friend Helen Whatley Hensley preceded her in death. Dorothy graduated from New Orleans' McMain High School in the 1938. From a young girl, she helped her mother in the family business. Dorothy loved her city of New Orleans and gave much to her community. As a daughter of a Mason and Shriner, when of age, she became a Rainbow Girl and worked at many service projects.
