With our custom veil service you can choose any length veil or veils you please. Here we have given you some basic information on different lengths their most attractive uses and approximate measurements.

Veil lengths and widths vary and should be scaled to the size of the bride and the wedding dress style. Lengths range from shoulder to past the end of the train and are measured from where they attach to headpiece to the bottom edge. When considering veil length take in to consideration the details of your dress. Is it simple and understated? Is it a gleaming jewel covered in lace and pearls? Do you have an ornate bodice with a plain satin skirt? Is there a train or a simple sweeping ballgown hem? Is your back something you would not want to cover up? Try to picture yourself in your dress and imagine what would look the best on you...........

Shoulder length to 18" Best when you want to emphasize the back details of your gown, in combination with a longer veil or for an informal setting.

Elbow or Blusher length to 25" Used alone for an informal setting or in combination with other layers to create your blusher or face veil.

Waist to 36" Works well when in combination with an elbow/blusher or fingertip length.

Fingertip to 45" Lovely with a long gown alone or in combination with shorter or longer lengths.

Knee to 54" Best with short gown in combination with shorter veil.

Sweep to 72" Best with floor length gowns.

Ballet to 88" For floor length or sweep train gowns.

Chapel to 108" For chapel length gowns.

Cathedral to 144" For Cathedral length gowns, or use with a short dress to create a dramatic train effect.

Royal to 180" For use with royal trained gowns or extra drama to a cathedral train.
